Act as an expert in employee relations, offering sound HR advice, coaching, and support.
- Up to £37,000
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.00pm (4.30 finish on a Friday)
- Opportunity to work from home occasionally, potentially one day per week, flexible scheduling
- 27 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas closure

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner strategically with Group Heads of HR and Group HR Manager
- Support HR strategies and initiatives
- Act as HR lead in the absence of the Group HR Manager
- Serve as the key contact for complex cases
- Communicate serious employee relation matters promptly
- Provide HR advice and coaching to Line Managers
- Contribute to HR team and organisational development
- Engage in HR projects and initiatives
- Support Employee Relations (ER) activities
- Maintain a positive workplace culture
- Handle casework proactively
- Provide timely advice on employee relations issues
- Analyse internal data for insights and solutions
- Manage restructuring and redundancies
- Ensure advice aligns with legislation and best practices
- Support new managers during induction
- Balance caseloads across the HR team
- Ensure accurate administration of the employee lifecycle
- Maintain HR records compliant with GDPR
- Qualified to CIPD level 3 or working towards level 5 or similar
- Extensive employee relations knowledge and practical HR experience
- Experience in a fast-paced HR environment, leading employee relation matters and case management
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations best practices
- Experience as a generalist HR professional applying HR policies effectively
- Understanding of Equal Opportunities and Data Protection legislation
