Job summary

Egis is recruiting an Health, Safety & Well-being (HSW) Advisor for the Connect Plus Services project on the M25. You will support development and monitoring of HSW processes, ensuring safe operations for staff, supply chain and communities, including night-time works and on-site oversight.

You will mentor HSW advisors, champion safety across teams and drive training, inspections and reporting to improve safety performance on site.

Qualifications

Membership of a relevant professional body (IOSH).
Professional qualification in health and safety (minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).
A current CSCS Card.
Clean, full driving license.
Able to maintain a regular night-time and weekend presence.
Utilise MS Office and digital platforms at an intermediate level to review data and prepare graphs.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day management, guidance and mentoring to HSW advisors.
Act as a visible champion for HSW across the project.
Monitor local HSW standards and feedback improvements to HSW Managers.
Oversee communications to keep HSW on the delivery agenda and report on effectiveness.
Support delivery of HSW training based on project needs.
Undertake site and depot inspections and track actions to close out.
Prepare reports and presentations detailing performance data.
Represent the Health, Safety & Well-being function in meetings.
