Job summary

Cavendish Professionals is seeking an experienced Head of HSEQ to lead and develop the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality function across multiple live projects in London and the South. The role reports to senior leadership and requires driving best practice and a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.

You will oversee policy development, audits, training, and external accreditation while ensuring compliance with UK H&S legislation and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Senior HSEQ Manager experience in construction/building services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSEQ strategy across ~5 live projects.
• Develop and improve HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Carry out site inspections and audits across London and the South.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and industry standards.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Produce reports and KPIs for senior management.
• Manage external audits and ISO accreditation processes.
• Deliver training and toolbox talks to site teams.
• Promote a proactive safety culture within the business.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and regulators on HSEQ matters.
