Job summary

AMS, a global workforce solutions partner, is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner for a 24-month contract based at the Derby campus. You will provide senior Health, Safety and Environment leadership across major capital projects and ensure control measures are in place during design, construction and commissioning.

You will embed best practice, drive risk reduction and deliver robust governance across multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with UK HSE legislation and client

Qualifications

• NEBOSH-qualified HSE professional required.
• Experience in construction/manufacturing/high-hazard environments.
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and application across lifecycles.
• Ability to provide pragmatic HSE advice and influence stakeholders.
• Proven track record in fostering a positive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead HSE advisor for major projects and embed best practices.
• Drive proactive HSE risk management across design, construction and handover.
• Maintain HSE governance, reporting, audits and risk-based recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and company standards (CDM, contractor management).
• Influence safe design and contractor management across project partners.
