Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is recruiting an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager for projects in the Southcoast region. The role involves overseeing safety across sites, ensuring compliance and promoting best practice on high-value schemes valued from £10M to £100M across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.

You will lead safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations, driving continuous improvement and engaging the team in HSE awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role on high-value schemes is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001/ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
• Ability to drive HSE improvements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with legal standards, client expectations and company standards.
• Support planning and delivery teams with high-risk activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Advise on incidents, accidents or near misses.
• Promote HSE awareness and behavioural improvements.
