Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are recruiting a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor based in Southampton. You will oversee HSQE across 8 sites in the southern region, focusing on commercial projects including MOD, MOJ and DOE works.

You will support directors and site teams with up-to-date HSQE documentation, lead audits, risk assessments and policy development, and represent the company with clients and enforcement bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing HSQE across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of HSQE legislation and best practice.
• Ability to work with directors and management teams.
• Experience with audits and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Keep up to date with HSQE requirements and legislation.
• Provide support to directors and management in all aspects of HSQE.
• Ensure site management has up-to-date HSQE documentation.
• Assist with risk assessments and method statements where appropriate.
• Conduct HSQE audits and inspections on sites.
• Represent the HSQE team to clients and enforcement agencies.
