Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead HSE across multiple projects in the Bristol area. You will promote best practice, ensure compliance with standards and drive continuous improvement on site.

You will oversee safety for project teams, conduct inspections and audits, and support the delivery team with high‑risk activities while championing HSE awareness and behavioural safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role; HSE Advisor ready to step up.
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO 45001/ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety across projects and promote best practice.
• Drive HSE legislation compliance and continuous improvement.
• Support planning and delivery teams with high‑risk activities.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Advise on incidents, accidents or near misses and promote HSE awareness.
