Job summary

Greys Specialist Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for construction and refurbishment projects in the Nottingham region. You will lead the HSE function, develop policies, review RAMS and drive regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive construction sector experience, a NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6), and a proven track record in ISO 45001/14001 systems. Regular site travel is expected, with permanent employment and a company van included in the package.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven track record in HSE leadership within construction/refurbishment environments.
• Excellent communication at all levels, with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE strategy across multiple construction/refurbishment projects.
• Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures and RAMS.
• Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation, CDM and ISO 45001/14001.
• Conduct site audits, investigations and follow-up actions.
• Provide professional HSE guidance to directors and project teams.
