Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a reputable new home construction business to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Advisor with extensive new build housing exposure. You will implement and manage Health & Safety policies across East Midlands sites, driving a safe culture.

The role requires NEBOSH Health & Safety Management for Construction, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, IOSH membership, and strong CDM knowledge. You will lead on RAMS, SSOW and incident reporting to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Health & Safety for Construction certification required.
• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in H&S is essential.
• Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH or higher) required.
• Experience in new build housing projects is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the key person promoting health and safety across sites.
• Champion continuous improvement and best practice.
• Review RAMS and safe systems of work; provide feedback.
• Build relationships with site teams to influence safe behaviour.
• Monitor effectiveness of safety arrangements via inspections and audits.
• Ensure reporting to HSE as required under RIDDOOR.
