Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd, in partnership with a reputable home construction business, seeks a Health & Safety Advisor with extensive new build housing exposure to cover sites across the East Midlands. You will implement H&S standards, lead safety culture, and ensure ongoing compliance with CDM and regulatory requirements.

The role requires NEBOSH H&S Management for Construction, NVQ4 in H&S, IOSH membership, and hands-on RAMS/SSOW expertise across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Health & Safety Management for Construction certification.
• Tech IOSH or higher qualification.
• RAMS, SSOW & Accident Reporting experience.
• Knowledge of First Aid & Mental Health First Aid is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and safety culture across housing sites.
• Ensure contractors follow health and safety policies and procedures.
• Review RAMS and safe systems of work and provide feedback for improvements.
• Engage site teams to encourage safe behaviours and compliance.
• Monitor effectiveness through inspections and audits and report findings.
