Job summary

Metlen Energy and Metals Plc seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental management for its Renewables Division in the UK. You will drive HSE strategy across preconstruction, construction and O&M phases, ensuring compliance with PCI, planning conditions and METLEN SMS.

You will coordinate with development, grid, design and project teams, perform audits and risk assessments, and guide incident investigations. NEBOSH certificates and ISO audit experience are preferred.

Qualifications

8+ Years proven experience in Construction Health, Safety and Environmental Management for large scale solar/battery plants (EPC).
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (desirable).
NEBOSH Environmental Certificate (desirable).
NEBOSH Fire Certificate (desirable).
ISO9001, 14001, 45001 internal or lead auditor (desirable).
Risk assessment certification desirable.
IT literate with Microsoft Office and document management skills.
Driving licence.
In-date First Aider ticket (FAW).

Responsibilities

Lead HSE management across preconstruction, construction and O&M phases for renewables projects in the UK.
Coordinate with development, grid, client and design teams to ensure HSE/compliance and planning conditions.
Conduct HSE audits, risk assessments and incident investigations; maintain METLEN SMS compliance.
