Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Senior Coordinator in the Southampton region to help develop and implement HSE procedures and provide regional guidance across the client account.

The role supports the broader EMEA HSE function, driving compliance, incident investigation, and continuous improvement while coordinating with site teams to ensure safety excellence across CBRE activities.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate (Minimum).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid UK/EU passport.
• Intermediate problem-solving skills with capacity to review and select solutions without supervisory approval.
• Ability to explain detailed information clearly to team.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with a curious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide general Health, Safety and Environment guidance to client site teams in accordance with CBRE processes and procedures and client safety systems.
• Support monitoring high-risk injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Assist with development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance.
• Support filing and maintenance of permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure compliance.
• Audit inspection records and investigate escalated complaints and suspected violations.
• Inform management, clients and employees of complex control regulations and inspection findings and recommend corrections.
• Support cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and select solutions from established options and impact service quality.
• Coordinate legislative updates within your region and ensure compliant management.
• Coordinate and support client site teams with correct compliance management (Logbooks, TCCC).
• Influence mitigation strategies for legislative changes and encourage continual service improvements.
