Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are currently assisting a leading main contractor in Bournemouth to find a contract Health & Safety Advisor for a full-time role. The position will be based at the project office in Bournemouth with standard hours 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have construction industry experience and hold NEBOSH Construction or be an IOSH member, with strong communication and attention to detail to promote a safe working environment across sites.

Qualifications

• Construction sector experience and knowledge of HSQE practices.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HSQE documentation is filed and stored per the management system.
• Assist site teams with training to address gaps from audits.
• Promote a safe working environment across internal and external stakeholders.

Fawkes & Reece are currently assisting a leading main contractor who are seeking a contract Health & Safety Advisor to join their business on a full-time basis. Based out of their project office in Bournemouth. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:00 - 4:00pm

Duties include:

• Responsible for ensuring all HSQE documentation is filed and stored correctly, complying with HSQE management system.
• Assist operational site teams with training as and when required following on from any gaps highlighted after site audits.
• Regularly & thoroughly promote a safe working environment both internally and eternally representing the business and their values.

Key attributes:

• Previous experience within the construction industry is fundamental.
• Relevant qualification including either NEBOSH Construction or a member of IOSH.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail
