Job summary

KAEFER UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to join our HSE team on a permanent basis. You will provide timely guidance on Health, Safety and Environment, support the HSE strategy, and lead audits, risk assessments and training across UK and Ireland sites.

You will collaborate with HSE and construction managers to ensure compliance with legislation, company policies and client requirements, while driving improvements and promoting a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of HSE law and codes of practice.
• Significant hands-on experience in a safety related role.
• Experience with HSE systems, processes and training needs.

Responsibilities

• Advise site management on safety and environmental plans and risk assessments.
• Provide authoritative guidance on Health & Safety matters to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal obligations and changes in law.
• Develop and maintain HSE policy and procedures on site.
• Lead daily HSE presence on site and support delivery of Safe Start and Hazard Surveys.
• Prepare safety and environmental reports and conducts audits/inspections.
