Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, seeks a Senior Health & Safety Advisor in Blantyre to guide H&S across multiple projects, ensuring CDM 2015 compliance and proactive safety performance. The role supports ~240 projects, 350+ staff and 800–1000 contractors, focusing on safe works and client interface.

Qualifications

• Occupational Health and Safety degree or EQF Level 5–8 qualification.
• IPD CPD registration with IOSH membership preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Health & Safety direction and advice to project teams and senior management.
• Influence teams to ensure legal compliance and maintain the Health & Safety Management System.
• Support incident investigations from minor events to major inquiries.
• Coordinate safe works methodologies and contractor safety across projects.
