An established industry player seeks a Senior HSE Advisor to oversee HSE compliance for a significant offshore wind farm project. This role involves developing risk management strategies, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and promoting a robust safety culture across project sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in HSE management systems and a NEBOSH diploma, with a minimum of an HNC in a relevant discipline. This long-term contract position offers a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility while contributing to a vital renewable energy initiative.
Our client is part of a consortium working on the design, construction and installation of an HVDC Substation for an offshore Wind Farm project. We are recruiting on their behalf for a Senior HSE Advisor to be based at their project office in Lowestoft and/or remotely on a hybrid basis.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the implementation of the Project HSE Management Plan throughout the project life cycle, maintaining compliance and approval to OHSAS 18001. You will liaise with the Consortium Management Team and report to Project Director and the Client.

Candidate specification:
You will hold a minimum of an HNC in an appropriate discipline and be qualified in/have detailed experience of ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS18001 Management Systems. You'll also hold a NEBOSH diploma or equivalent and be a member of IOSH.
You must have extensive experience in an HSE Management role in the offshore wind industry, ideally on offshore HVDC substation projects. There will be travel to project and manufacturing sites across the UK, Europe and Asia so you must be prepared to travel.
This is a long-term contract role, expected to last for a minimum of 6 months.
