Job Title: Senior HSE Advisor
Location: Norwich, UK
Contract Length: Until 31st December 2025 (Potential for Extension)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Overview:
Exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environmental professional to join a major onshore renewables project. This role offers the chance to influence safety culture and operational practices in a highly visible infrastructure programme.
Responsibilities:
Promote a strong HSE culture through leadership and engagement
Support and implement HSE systems and best practices
Review RAMS and monitor compliance
Coordinate inspections, investigations and reporting activities
Provide HSE advice to teams on site
Maintain HSE documentation and records
Deliver site inductions and safety briefings
Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to improve safety outcomes
Participate in audits, safety walks, and risk workshops
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in HSE roles
NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalent HSE qualification
Understanding of CDM 2015
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office; Synergi experience is a plus
Experience in contractor and stakeholder HSE management
Current UK driving licence
Live within 60 minutes of site
Desirable:
Environmental HSE qualifications (e.g. IEMA)
Qualified HSE auditor
HSE training delivery experience
Diploma-level HSE qualification
Background in large-scale infrastructure projects
Conditions:
Primarily site-based in Norwich with occasional travel. Some remote work may be allowed subject to project approval.
