Job summary

Humanoid is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner day-to-day with leaders across Engineering, Hardware, and Software to strengthen manager capability, improve org effectiveness, and build scalable people practices for a deep-tech environment.

You will work closely with our Chief HR, shaping and delivering the people strategy for the technical organisation. This hands-on role combines strategic partnership with operational execution across performance, culture, and retention.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven HRBP experience supporting technical teams (Engineering, Hardware, Software, AI/ML).
• Strong capability in org design and workforce planning.
• Experience coaching managers and managing performance and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for Engineering, Hardware, and Software leaders.
• Navigate scale moments with new layers, new managers and evolving leadership expectations.
• Coach technical managers on goals, execution cadence, and feedback loops.
• Support performance differentiation and ensure fair handling of issues.
• Enable high-quality 1:1s and career conversations.
• Evolve career frameworks/levels for technical roles (SWE, robotics, embedded, firmware, electrical, mechanical).
• Clarify dual IC/manager tracks, promotion readiness, and growth expectations.
• Spot retention risks in technical roles and design targeted plans.
