Job summary

Reed in Cardiff is seeking a Senior HR Advisor (Reward Transformation) to shape reward practices within a large organisation. You will lead on reward initiatives, job evaluation, analytics and pay framework development on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis.

The role reports to the Reward Manager and involves delivering fair, data‑driven reward solutions, supporting pay equity, and collaborating with HR colleagues and senior stakeholders to drive organisational transformation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in reward, compensation, pay structures, or HR analytics.
• Strong knowledge of job evaluation methodologies (e.g. HERA or equivalent).
• Experience supporting pay framework design and review.
• Excellent analytical skills, including reward reporting and pay gap analysis.
• A sound understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion principles in reward.
• The confidence to influence stakeholders and challenge inconsistencies where required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience delivering training, coaching, or capability-building initiatives.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
