Job summary

Larbey Evans in London is seeking a Senior HR Manager (EMEA) to oversee human resources in London and international offices, focusing on the fee-earner population, including employee relations, business services recruiting, onboarding and workforce management.

Qualifications

• CIPD Certification required.
• At least 5 years of HR experience in a law firm.

• Desirable: extensive fee-earner experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to partners, lawyers and staff on employee relations issues.
• Partner with Directors on hiring, performance management and budget implications.
• Work with HR and employment counsel on performance management of lawyers.
• Support annual HR budgeting with senior HR leadership.
• Develop and evaluate recruitment sources to attract qualified candidates.

Senior HR Manager (EMEA)

They are looking for a Senior HR Manager to join their established London office who will be responsible for the Human Resources functions in the London & International offices (specifically focusing on the Fee-Earner population, including employee relations, business services recruiting, onboarding and workforce management).

Key Responsibilities of the Senior HR Manager (EMEA):

• Providing support and guidance to partners, lawyers, managers, and employees on all employee relations issues such as coaching, discipline, hiring, termination
• Partner with the Directors, Managers in respect of business support staff hiring and performance management
• Partner with practice management, HR and employment lawyer in respect of performance management of all lawyers
• Assist with the HR annual budget in conjunction with the Director of International Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer
• Developing and evaluating effective sources to ensure the most qualified candidates are recruited, interviewed, and selected

Key Skills & Requirements of the Senior HR Manager (EMEA):

• CIPD Certification
• At least 5 years+ law firm experience of professional HR experience with an emphasis in employee relations, recruiting and workforce management, extensive fee-earner experience is desirable
• Demonstrable commitment to staying up-to‑date on the latest HR trends
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organisational, and planning skills
