Job Title: Senior HR Business Partner, Global Functions (12-month FTC)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop understanding of key business drivers and challenges to support HR strategy development and execution.
  2. Lead communication, implementation, and measurement of people initiatives in collaboration with HR Centres of Excellence to foster a high-performance culture.
  3. Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, establishing credibility as a strategic partner by understanding the business landscape.
  4. Influence and coach leaders, acting as a confidante and constructive challenger.
  5. Educate leaders on effectively utilizing HR Centres of Excellence.
  6. Support leaders in demonstrating strong leadership behaviors and cascading these throughout their teams.
  7. Assist in attracting, developing, motivating, and retaining talent to drive business success.
  8. Collaborate with talent teams across regions to enhance talent planning.
  9. Promote a high-performance culture through effective performance development and feedback processes.
  10. Understand organizational capabilities and develop HR strategies to enhance them.
  11. Analyze financial and commercial data to inform HR and business planning.
  12. Guide senior leaders on organizational change initiatives, including culture change and restructuring.
  13. Use data and insights to support decision-making and measure HR initiatives.
  14. Focus HR investments on activities that deliver strategic benefits.
  15. Ensure operational HR support is accessible, promoting self-service and efficient access to HR services.

Qualifications + Skills:

We seek a passionate HR professional with a strategic, proactive mindset, capable of driving transformation and gaining stakeholder buy-in. The candidate should embody Dentsu’s culture and thrive in a global, inclusive, creative, and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience across HR functions, including talent, performance, development, change management, and reward.
  • Proven ability to lead HR strategies with senior leaders and utilize Centres of Excellence effectively.
  • Experience managing large-scale change across functions and geographies.
  • Skill in creating and executing complex HR projects with governance and timeliness.
  • Expertise in organizational design, coaching leaders to develop effective structures.
  • Understanding of cultural differences and ability to adapt leadership styles accordingly.
  • Strong employment law knowledge and risk assessment skills.

  • This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).
  • Flexible location options, with a requirement to be within commuting distance of Manchester or London, with hybrid working at least 2 days a week.
