Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Head of Employee & Change Communications to join us on a 12-month FTC. We’re offering a competitive base salary, 12% car allowance, and a strong benefits package.

In this critical role, you will lead a team to deliver impactful employee communications across various corporate functions, driving engagement and supporting transformation initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Defining and delivering an employee communications strategy that engages audiences with key priorities
  • Partnering with senior leaders to develop consistent, engaging narratives and strategies
  • Leading a team of Employee Communications Business Partners to deliver high-quality programmes
  • Defining and delivering an enterprise-wide approach to change communications
  • Identifying opportunities to create more joined-up plans across strategy, transformation, and performance culture priorities
  • Shaping and delivering the Corporate Affairs strategy as a senior member of the leadership team
  • Ensuring communications are reviewed and approved by knowledgeable individuals
  • Leading in all matters regarding employee management, ensuring consistency with company policies
Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Significant knowledge of employee communications strategies, ideally within financial services or large complex/matrixed organisations
  • Hands-on experience of change communications best practices and strategies
  • Experience in a senior role managing an employee communications function and team
  • Proven experience building, mentoring, and retaining teams of communications professionals
  • Ability to influence across a matrixed organisation and build strong relationships
  • Strong executive presence that inspires trust and confidence
  • Ability to connect conflicting priorities and align agendas
