Job summary

aaa Consulting is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our client-facing team, aligning people strategies with operational goals while providing expert support on a wide range of employee relations matters.

You will lead complex ER casework, coach managers, support investigations and hearings, and use people data to inform decisions. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and policy development is essential, with excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.
• Strong employee relations experience with sound knowledge of UK employment law.
• Confident handling complex and sensitive cases.
• Excellent influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
• Provide practical advice and coaching to managers on people-related issues.
• Support investigations, hearings and appeals, ensuring best practice and legal compliance.
• Handle more complex cases including long-term absence, reasonable adjustments, dismissals and organisational change.
• Analyse ER trends and recommend proactive solutions to minimise risk and improve employee experience.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Support managers in driving performance, engagement and organisational effectiveness.
• Contribute to people initiatives and HR projects, including change management, restructures and consultations.
• Use people data and insights to support business decision-making.
• Review and develop HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Deliver training and guidance to managers on employee relations and people management.
