Job summary

Maldon District Council is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner Manager to lead the HR Business Advisory team and support the delivery of people priorities. You will provide expert advice on employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning and people management, while overseeing complex casework and driving service improvements across the HR function.

Qualifications

CIPD Chartered HR professional with senior-level HR practice in local government/public sector.
Level 7 degree-qualified with strong employment law knowledge.
Proven ability to lead complex HR casework and drive organisational change.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the HR Business Advisory team, overseeing complex casework and ensuring consistent advice across the council.
Provide expert advice to managers and senior leaders on employee relations, workforce planning and people risk.
Drive continuous improvement across the HR service and support organisational change initiatives.
Balance risk, wellbeing and outcomes while delivering high-quality HR guidance.
