Maldon District Council is recruiting a seasoned HR Business Partner Manager to lead our HR Business Advisory team and oversee complex casework across the organisation.

You will provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and senior leaders, drive workforce planning, and help deliver people priorities. This role requires CIPD Level 7 and proven strategic HR experience in local government.

Qualifications

• CIPD chartered HR professional with Level 7 degree and senior HR practice experience.
• Extensive knowledge of employment law and local government HR.
• Proven ability to lead HR teams and complex casework.
• Strong coaching, stakeholder engagement, and change management.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop HR Business Advisory team to manage HR casework.
• Provide operational leadership to ensure enquiries, cases and escalations are managed consistently.
• Support managers and senior leaders on complex workforce matters.
• Oversee employee relations casework and ensure consistent HR advice across the organisation.
• Contribute to organisational change, workforce planning and service improvement initiatives.
• Attend the office for at least two days per week to support the team and casework.
