Role Summary:
The Senior HR Business Partner is a strategic and hands-on partner working closely with senior leaders to implement people strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Primarily focused on the UK, this role requires deep knowledge of UK employment legislation and compliance, with oversight of the US, Mexico, and the Philippines. The role supports HR policy guidance, employee relations, and governance.
As the lead HR representative, this role provides practical operational HR support while ensuring legal adherence and supporting broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Business Partnering:
- Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing high-level HR strategy and practical support for UK and regional entities.
- Advise leadership on talent management, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Lead organizational changes and workforce planning aligned with business goals and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law and consistent application of HR policies.
- Partner with Centres of Excellence for HR programs like talent reviews and succession planning.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to align recruitment with business needs.
- Support employee relations issues, ensuring legal compliance and best practices.
Policy and Governance:- Oversee HR policy application across regions, ensuring consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
- Advise on complex employee relations cases, aligning with UK law and global policies.
- Assist leaders with UK-specific HR issues, including redundancies and restructures.
- Coordinate with legal and regional HR teams to ensure compliance with local laws in US, Mexico, and the Philippines.
Trauma-Related Psychological Support Services:- Manage relationships with providers delivering psychological services for emotionally challenging content.
- Coordinate trauma support programs focusing on prevention, training, and personalized therapy.
- Work with external partners to ensure services meet employee needs and legal standards.
- Monitor and adapt programs for effectiveness and compliance.
Talent Cycles (Performance, Pay & Reward):- Lead performance management and calibration processes.
- Manage pay and reward cycles, ensuring alignment with performance and market standards.
- Guide leaders on linking performance to compensation decisions.
- Coordinate with HR centers to ensure seamless review processes.
Regional HR Oversight:- Act as the primary contact for HR matters across the UK, providing advice and support.
- Manage employee relations cases, ensuring UK legal compliance and regional coordination.
Skills & Experience:- Extensive Senior HRBP experience partnering with senior leaders.
- Deep knowledge of UK employment law, including TUPE and redundancies.
- Experience in a standalone HR role is advantageous.
- Strong advisory skills on HR policy and governance.
- Ability to support complex employee issues and manage performance and reward cycles.
- Commercial mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
- Collaborative working with HR teams, legal, and business leaders.
Desirable:- Experience supporting US, Mexico, or Philippines regions.
- Adaptability in fast-paced or evolving environments.
- Experience supporting hybrid and distributed teams.
- Experience managing trauma-related psychological services is a plus.
