L3Harris in the Brighton area is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support frontline employees and site leadership. This role will partner with HRBPs and COE to implement strategic HR initiatives across the Brighton site and planned relocations to nearby areas.

The successful candidate will drive talent management, workforce planning, performance, and compensation programs while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality in a security-minded environment.

Our Brighton business is moving to a new location in 2027. The new site is expected to be located in either Shoreham, Burgess Hill, or Horsham and will be within a 15-minute drive of our current site.

L3Harris in Brighton is part of our Release Systems & Antennas division operating in the Aerospace domain. For over 70 years, L3Harris has designed and developed industry-leading carriage and release systems for fighter, rotary-wing, and unmanned platforms. We design, manufacture, and test a large portion of our release systems portfolio in our Brighton facility, which offers 48,500 square feet of manufacturing space. Our mission-critical release systems equipment is on most major airborne fighter platforms worldwide, including the F-35, along with aircraft like the Gripen and Typhoon.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day HR contact for frontline employees, providing guidance on HR processes, policies, and standard practices
• Directly support site leaders and employees, and partner with other business leaders, HRBPs, and Center of Excellence to implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve organisational capability
• Partner with Division and Sector HR team to drive enterprise strategies
• Utilize trends and analytics to provide proactive recommendations and propose solutions to enable sound talent divisions and initiatives
• Identify and diagnose issues to develop, recommend, and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience
• Build and utilise relationships with functional HRBPs to influence business priorities within the functions
• Responsible for leading end-to-end talent management processes for site leadership, including workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and compensation
• Manage projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function
• Provide change management leadership

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree qualified with substantial previous related experience or CIPD qualification
• HR experience as a Business Partner with increasing scope and responsibility, supporting various organizational levels, preferably within a matrix and government contracting environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and consulting skills
• Possesses a high degree of professional integrity and confidentiality with an eye for attention to detail
• Knowledge of HR systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, and SuccessFactors
