Job summary

Mission Search is representing a national charity seeking a Senior HR Officer to advise managers, manage employee relations, and drive proactive HR support across the organisation. The role emphasises early intervention and practical solutions to workplace challenges, along with end-to-end recruitment and policy development.

You will work with the People & Culture team, handling ER caseloads, investigations, disciplinaries, and change initiatives, while benefiting from fully remote UK-based

Qualifications

• Strong experience across Employee Relations.
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience advising and coaching managers on people issues.
• Track record of using early intervention and informal resolution to resolve workplace challenges.
• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and challenging conversations.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and proactive HR support to managers and colleagues.
• Lead on Employee Relations cases including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Manage own caseload and advise on absence, performance management and organisational change.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment with hiring managers, shortlisting and interviews.
• Contribute to HR projects, policy development, and manager training.
