Amegreen Children's Services in Mortimer (office based) is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our expanding HR function. You will partner with managers across Operations, Finance, Quality Assurance, Training and Care/Education Leadership Teams to drive best practice.

You will manage complex employee relations, influence decisions, travel between sites as required, and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice that supports growth and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Solid HR advisory experience with a track record of managing complex Employee Relations cases.
• Able to work independently, own decisions and prioritise workload effectively.
• Thrive in a team environment, know when to lead and when to seek input.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied workload of proactive HR initiatives and reactive operational matters across multiple sites.
• Build strong relationships with managers and leaders across sites and central support functions.
• Own complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice balancing legal compliance, business needs and employee wellbeing.
• Support and challenge managers to make confident, well‑informed decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to support organisational objectives across Operations, Finance, QA and Training teams.
• Review and improve HR policies, processes and ways of working to reflect best practice.
• Travel between sites as required to provide visible and effective HR support.
