Zachary Daniels is partnering with a growing consumer business to recruit a Senior HR Advisor. This hands-on role supports managers and employees across HR and helps strengthen the wider HR function.

You will manage ER cases, provide pragmatic guidance, and deliver day-to-day HR operations including onboarding and contract administration. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders and enjoy hybrid working with one day from home per week.

Qualifikationen

• Strong generalist HR experience with emphasis on employee relations.
• Experience managing complex ER cases independently.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience in fast-paced or growing businesses.
• Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• CIPD qualification would be beneficial but not essential.

Senior HR Advisor Growing Consumer Business

Zachary Daniels is delighted to be partnering with a growing and ambitious consumer business to recruit a Senior HR Advisor.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships across a business and making a real difference to its people.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in supporting managers and employees across all things HR alongside helping to develop and strengthen the wider HR function.

We're looking for someone who is confident managing ER cases, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable getting involved in the day-to-day as they are looking at ways to improve processes and ways of working.

The role

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and guidance to managers across the business.
• Take ownership of a broad range of employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance, capability and absence management.
• Coach and support managers, helping them build confidence in dealing with people matters.
• Support the delivery of day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts and HR documentation.
• Ensure HR policies, processes and procedures are up to date and consistently applied.
• Keep abreast of employment legislation and support the business in preparing for upcoming changes.
• Provide guidance, coaching and day-to-day support to a junior member of the HR team.
• Support wider people initiatives, including training, development and employee engagement.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the HR function continues to evolve alongside the business.

About you

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor who enjoys being close to the business and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Strong generalist HR experience, with particular strength in employee relations.
• Confidence managing complex ER cases independently and providing pragmatic advice to managers.
• A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience working in a growing, changing or fast-paced business.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and challenge when needed.
• A proactive, organised approach and a genuine passion for supporting people.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior HR colleagues would be advantageous.
• CIPD qualification would be beneficial but isn't essential.
