Charnwood Borough Council is seeking an experienced Principal Solicitor (Housing & Litigation) to lead a broad spectrum of housing and litigation work. You will join a forward-thinking legal team, with agile and remote working arrangements and opportunities to appear in courts across Leicestershire.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with substantial post-qualification experience in civil and criminal advocacy, able to manage a varied caseload and provide clear,

Competenze

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with substantial post-qualification experience in litigation and advocacy.
• Experience in housing litigation including possession, injunctions, anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement.
• Experience in local authority enforcement work is advantageous.
• Ability to represent clients in courts, tribunals and formal hearings.
