Job summary

Shelter is hiring a Senior Support Worker in Weymouth, Dorset, to lead a Housing First delivery team and coordinate wraparound support for people with multiple needs. You will develop person-centered plans and liaise with landlords to secure accommodation while aligning with safeguarding and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing, supporting and developing staff and volunteers, including monitoring quality of work.
• Ability to deliver to an assertive outreach model and work within safeguarding frameworks.
• Knowledge of Housing First principles and housing/homelessness legislation is important.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with a caseload of people with complex needs and engage them with Housing First services.
• Develop co-produced, outcome-focused support plans reflecting individual goals.
• Coordinate interventions across agencies to provide the right support at the right time.
• Lead the Housing First delivery team and ensure contract outcomes and quality standards are met.
