Job summary

North Yorkshire Council’s Housing Standards Team seeks an experienced Level 3 Contract Supervisor to lead external contracts across North Yorkshire. Based from Harrogate, Richmond or Selby, you will oversee planned maintenance, capital works, adaptations, and decarbonisation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and value.

You will monitor contractor performance, manage budgets, and support service improvements while working with residents and stakeholders to deliver reliable housing investment

Qualifications

• Significant experience in contract management and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance.
• Ability to lead on complex contracts and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your own area of work while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, suppliers and service providers to achieve best value and safe delivery.
