Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in building maintenance and construction practices.
• Proven procurement, contract management, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation in housing/construction.
• Experience managing complex planned maintenance and capital projects.
• Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your own area, maintaining standards for quality, performance and safety.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, suppliers and service providers to ensure best value and compliance.
• Undertake day-to-day contract management and monitor contractor performance.
• Chair and minute contract liaison meetings and progress actions.
• Manage delivery of minor and major adaptation works.
• Oversee planned maintenance, capital investment and compliance contracts.
• Carry out site inspections and audits to verify quality and safety.
• Interpret technical reports and progress works with remedial actions.
• Contribute to development, procurement and mobilisation of new contracts.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, contractors and residents to deliver services.
