Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Housekeeper to lead cleaning duties across wards and hospital areas. The role requires ensuring high standards of cleanliness in line with national guidelines and infection control, and supporting a flexible hotel services team.

You will work 28 hours per week, with opportunities to take on additional shifts, training, and progression within the housekeeping service.

Qualifications

• Willing to complete all in-house training necessary to own role.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• Willing to undertake training toward a qualification relevant to the post (e.g., NVQ/BICS).

Responsabilités

• Maintain the required standard of cleaning services following the correct procedure and frequencies.
• Undertake a variety of cleaning duties in line with ward/area cleaning schedules.
• Operate mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Replenish disposables and consumables.
• Safely store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Carry out specialist cleaning and one-off cleaning duties as required.
• Assist with laundry duties as and when required.
• Ward-based duties including catering support, meal preparation and serving where applicable.
