Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Housekeeper at Pershore Hospital, offering flexible hours with a 4:30pm–8pm shift, Monday to Friday. This temporary role pays £12.71 per hour and focuses on maintaining a clean, safe ward environment for patients and staff.

The position includes COSHH knowledge requirements, a driver’s license preferred, and opportunities to work across neighbouring Trusts through the bank system.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role (though full training given).
• Knowledge of COSHH and proper use of chemicals.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Cleaning toilets, kitchen area, offices, waiting room and reception.
• Emptying bins
• Replenishing hand towel, toilet roll & soap dispensers.
• Dusting highs and lows
• Wiping over desks
• Hoovering and mopping
• To provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues
