A prominent hotel in Randburg, Gauteng is seeking a results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to lead sales across corporate, MICE, and leisure segments. You will develop strategies, nurture key accounts, and drive revenue growth while upholding exceptional service standards.

The role requires a proven track record in hotel sales leadership, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years in hotel sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in hospitality.
• Strong understanding of sales principles, market dynamics, and revenue management.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with Randburg/Gauteng market is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets across all segments.
• Identify new business opportunities in corporate, MICE, and leisure markets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct presentations, site inspections, and client entertainment.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise revenue.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth areas.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Operations for cohesive delivery.
• Manage the sales budget and track performance against goals.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows.
