Job summary
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust in Surrey is inviting applications for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant in Patient Services at Epsom Hospital. The role involves preparing medicines for patients, assisting in the dispensary and delivering high standards of patient care in a busy hospital pharmacy.
You will work Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:30 with a 60-minute lunch, and participate in on-call rotas as required.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent is essential.
- Experience with hospital pharmacy dispensing systems preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong customer care skills.
- Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare medicines for patients.
- Carry out general housekeeping, filing and receptionist duties.
- Undertake daily stock checks.
