Job summary
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Stores and Dispensary teams in a development role within Hospital Pharmacy. No previous hospital or pharmacy experience required; you will be supported to work towards an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services and to contribute to a reliable medicines supply service.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:30, with late duty, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday rotas.
Qualifications
- Willingness to undertake a NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
- No previous hospital or pharmacy experience required.
- Evidence of basic stock control & maintenance experience encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing and stock handling within the pharmacy distribution service.
- Carry out general housekeeping, filing and receptionist duties.
- Undertake daily stock checks.
- Assist in ward top ups and issuing stock to wards under supervision.
