Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Home Manager for Strathview, a 25-bed residential and dementia care home in Scotland. You will lead day-to-day operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while safeguarding budgets and quality of care.

The role requires 2–3 years’ experience as a home manager in older people’s residential or dementia settings, with a focus on building strong relationships with families and local agencies. A proactive, improvement-focused leader is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years' experience as a home manager for older people in residential or dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home.
• Provide leadership and effective management for all staff.
• Promote a caring environment that follows current guidelines, best practice and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure effective financial and commercial management of the home in line with policy.
• Maintain a high level of satisfaction with the service.
