Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join the Berkshire/Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS) network. The appointee will provide diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology, join the existing team, and help raise departmental profiles through teaching and education.

The role requires broad experience in diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology with a Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or equivalent, and GMC registration or eligibility.

Qualifications

• FRCPath or equivalent qualification.
• Full and Specialist GMC registration or eligibility within six months of interview.
• Higher degree (PhD/MD) submitted/awarded.

Responsabilités

• Support current delivery of histopathology and cytopathology services.
• Lead one or more subspecialty disciplines as requested.
• Participate in MDT meetings and external quality assurance schemes.
