Job summary

Bimplus in Cheshire is seeking an experienced Civil & Structures Manager to lead capital highways and structures projects under a major long-term contract. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, from ECI through handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and the client to deliver safe, on-time, within budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highways, bridges, structures or related infrastructure.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, programmes, budgets and client relationships.
• Experience with NEC contracts in live highways infrastructure environment.
• ONC/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or Construction is essential; Chartered status advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead highways, civil engineering, bridge and structures projects.
• Manage project programmes, resources, budgets and delivery performance.
• Coordinate direct labour, supervisors, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Procure with NEC contract administration and cost/value performance.
• Drive CDM, HSEQ compliance and safe systems of work.
• Develop operational teams and provide visible leadership.
• Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
