Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Site Agent to support a Tier 1 highways contractor on a busy Suffolk local authority contract. The role covers night-time carriageway patching, structures schemes, footway slurry surfacing and general highways maintenance.

You'll manage day-to-day delivery, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, monitor programmes and costs, and ensure works are completed safely to NEC requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven Site Agent experience within highways or civil engineering.
• Local authority highways/framework experience advantageous.
• Good understanding of highways maintenance, drainage and structures.
• Strong leadership, commercial awareness and NEC knowledge.
• SMSTS and relevant CSCS card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of highways maintenance and civils schemes.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, labour and plant.
• Monitor programmes, progress, costs and quality.
• Manage site changes in accordance with NEC contract requirements.
• Attend client meetings and provide delivery updates.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to specification.
