Job summary

Worcestershire County Council is seeking two Senior Highways Maintenance Technicians to join the Design & Build South team at Newland Depot, Malvern. The role covers planning and delivery of highway maintenance schemes across Worcestershire, with a balance of office work and on-site inspections, traffic planning and contractor liaison.

Candidates will support emergency responses and contribute to improvement projects that benefit local communities.

Responsibilities

• Plan resurfacing and patching schemes and conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate traffic management planning and liaise with contractors.
• Help deliver specialist programmes such as surface dressing.
• Respond to day-to-day highway maintenance issues and emergency responses.
• Support delivery of improvement works across the network.
