Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Highways / Drainage Infrastructure Engineer to lead and deliver highway and drainage schemes across client and public sectors. You will work on feasibility through to detailed design, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• UK consultancy experience in highways, drainage or both.
• Proficient with AutoCAD (essential) and Civil 3D.
• Experience with InfoDrainage and/or Site3D is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of relevant design standards and guidance.
• Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Comfortable in a client-facing role.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading or contributing to highway and/or drainage design packages.
• Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings and design outputs.
• Delivering projects in line with budgets, programmes and standards.
• Supporting fee proposals and ongoing project management.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, statutory bodies and contractors.
• Attending client and design team meetings.
• Guiding, supporting and mentoring junior team members.
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
