Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Construction Manager for a major highways and infrastructure project. Based in Crawley, with site activity across the region, you will oversee delivery from early investigations through to handover.

You will report to the Project Director, lead engineering teams and subcontractors, ensure safety, quality and timely delivery, and collaborate with design, planning and SHE teams to optimise buildability.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in construction delivery, incl. 3+ years in a management role.
• SMSTS and a valid CSCS Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with design, commercial, quality and SHE teams to ensure buildability during design.
• Oversee site investigations, mobilisation, and handover, coordinating engineers and subcontractors.
• Support planning and procurement activities and manage project documentation.
