Job summary

Elevate Projects Ltd, in partnership with our client, is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist for Highways Agreements to provide senior-level expertise in negotiating, managing, and delivering highway agreements including Section 38 and Section 278 and other legal agreements with developers and third parties.

The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, local policies, and design standards, while supporting timely delivery of safe, sustainable highway infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Negotiation, preparation, and management of Section 38 and Section 278 highway agreements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and local authority policies.
• Provide technical guidance on complex agreement matters to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of highway works under agreements, on time and within budget.
• Monitor compliance with designs and maintenance requirements.
• Act as main contact for developers, consultants, and internal departments.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, and audit trails; identify and mitigate risks.
