Carrington West is seeking a Highway Works Manager in Bedfordshire on a full-time contract. The role offers flexible working arrangements and a day rate of £450-£500, with an initial 6-month contract.

You will manage delivery resources for capital construction projects up to £500k, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with the Programme Manager and client to deliver annual plans.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing construction schemes and operational resources.
• New roads and streetworks supervisor experience.
• SMSTS qualification required.
• Relevant academic construction/project management qualifications.
• Knowledge of Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs manual.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Asta and Confirm.

Aufgaben

• Manage delivery resources to ensure capital projects up to £500k.
• Oversee health, safety, environment and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with Programme Manager and Client to define the Annual Plan/ Contractor's Plan for portfolios and deliver against these commitments.
• Manage the delivery phase of the scheme.
