Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with highway design experience.
• Working towards IEng or CEng status; professional qualifications are advantageous.
• Knowledge of highway design and/or drainage systems across project life cycles.
• Familiarity with design codes: DMRB/Manual for Streets/TSRGD and related guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop highway designs and projects through all life cycle stages.
• Deliver projects to budget, programme, and technical standards; ensure legal compliance.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and mentor within the team.
• Contribute to the team’s internal knowledge base and upskill colleagues.
