Job summary

Steer is seeking an experienced highway design specialist to join our UK team, based in London or Leeds. You will contribute to major development schemes, urban streets and public spaces, collaborating with a range of multidisciplinary teams to deliver design solutions and ensure high-quality project outcomes.

You will apply your highway design expertise, use AutoCAD and Civils 3D, and manage projects with increasing complexity, while developing strong client relationships and communicating

Qualifications

• Experience in highway and public space design.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Civils 3D.
• Strong project management and client liaison.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work across UK offices (London or Leeds).

Responsibilities

• Undertake highway and public space design, using your technical skills.
• Use AutoCAD and Civils 3D to prepare drawings, reports and documents.
• Develop project management skills as you progress.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external subconsultants.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
